ABS-205 (Concentrated De-scaling Compound) |
Concentrated decaling compound. Cleans scales, slime, rust and other sediments. Effective on almost all metal surfaces. Excellent for removing carbonate scales and also excess concrete from concrete mixing trucks without removing paints. Contains corrosion inhibitors to protect metal surfaces when applied. Highly economical.
This can be diluted in the Ratio of 1:10 with water |
ABS 200(Special Descaler and Cleaner) |
A descaler which does not contain harsh inorganic acids such as Hydrochloric, Sulphuric or Nitric. Also contains a specially formulated corrosion inhibitor, hence very safe on most metal surfaces. Fast penetration and dissolution of scale and rust. Economical, eco-friendly and can be slightly warmed for better results. Product best suited for stainless steel.
Dilution: Can be mixed with water in the Ratio1:1 |
ABS 10 (Advanced Glass Cleaner) |
Excellent glass cleaner. Does not leave any residue. Does not contain any hazardous solvents. All surfactants present are Biodegradable. Highly economical.
This can be diluted in the Ratio of 1:25 with water |

POTENTIAL PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS |
PROBLEM # 1 High Pressure Drop |
When the pressure drop is high between the return and the supply air, the AIR FILTERS needs cleaning or replacement. |
PROBLEM # 2 Low flow rate of supply air. |
When the flow rate of supply air is low, the AIR FILTERS need cleaning or replacement.
CLEANING OF AIR FILTER: Air Filter should be cleaned with warm water or detergent at least once a week. |
PROBLEM # 3 Low temperature Drop |
In spite of the air filter, the surface of aluminum fin coils tend to get contaminated by airborne foreign particles/substances or oxidized due to humid environment inside the casing. Both contamination and oxidation film becomes an insulation barrier which hinders the heat transfer between the air and refrigerant in the coils.
CLEANING OF FINS: This should be cleaned with FIN CLEAN

HOW TO EVALUATE THE EFFECT OF FIN COIL CLEANING |
- Measuring the supply air flow rate before and after cleaning.
- Measuring the temperature of refrigerant return and supply air.
- Measuring the supply air temperatures before and after cleaning.

BENEFITS OF CLEANING AC COILS. |
- ENERGY SAVING_ Experience tells about 30% of electric power can be saved after cleaning dirty coils. (0.25 mm thick insulation layer).
- Assures proper operating of the system.
- Avoids sudden shut down of the systems. Dirty coils leads to mechanical damage to motors/blowers/compressors due to the heavy load.
- Clean systems provide pleasant working environment at reduced electrical cost. Avoids ‘SICK BUILDING SYNDROME’. The dirty coils are the nests of germs, which over a period of time lead to diseases to people breathing and exposed to the polluted air through the air conditioner.

WHY CLEAN AIRCONDITIONING COILS |
A clean air-conditioning unit uses less electricity. An energy survey, based on Northern New Jersey 1982 electric rates, shows a cost of $540.00 per season for operating a simple 3-ton unit with a clean condenser coil, versus $756.00 if the coil is dirty. A savings of $216.00. For a 60-ton unit, it costs $ 11,368 to operate on dirty coils and $ 8120 if it’s clean, a savings of $3248.00. With the spiraling cost of energy, you can’t afford not to clean your air-conditioning coils regularly.
Secondly, more air conditioners fail because they are running with dirty coils than because of mechanical problems. Dirty coils can cause head pressure to be 10% - 20% higher, thereby increasing unnecessary wear on motors, compressors, capacitors, switches, etc. Dirt and corrosion reduce the efficiency of the units, which causes it to run too frequently. An air conditioning coil is designed to transfer heat. Dirt and corrosion on a coil act as an insulator that interferes with heat transfer.
Thirdly, coil cleaning eliminates downtime. Regular cleaning reduces breakdowns. Units can be cleaned in-place, without DISASSEMBLY - which means additional savings. |

ADVANTAGES OF FIN CLEAN OVER CAUSTIC SODA |
CAUSTIC SODA
-
HIGHLY CAUSTIC AND EATS INTO METAL SURFACES
- HIGHLY COROSSIVE AND DANGEROUS TO USE
- PUNGENT SMELL MAKES USAGE DIFFICULT
- NECESSARY TO USE OUTDOORS.
- NON-BIODEGRADABLE
- NO HEAVY FOAMING RESULTING IN MULTI APPLICATION.
FINCARE
- CONTAINS RETARDANTS WHICH WILL NOT ALLOW COROSSION OF METAL.
- EASY TO HANDLE
- NO PUNGENT SMELL, INFACT LETS OUT A NICE DOUR.
- CAN BE USED INDOORS
- DEGRADALBE
- HIGH FOAMING ENSURES CLEANING FROM INSIDE TO OUTSIDE.
